Didier Louineau studied Art History and specialized in cinema. He worked for the Film Festival "International Encounters Henri Langlois", during which he got many opportunities to travel abroad, in particular to Russia and China in the early 90s.
Passionate for cinema, he created a company in Hong Kong for the distribution of short movies, documentaries and independent movies from Asia and Australia. He closed that company when big groups took over the market.
Following his passion for travels and images, he naturally started to dedicate himself to photography. Gradually, he specialized in shooting people's faces: the portrait of the man of the street has now become his identity as a photographer.
He is now fully dedicated to make photos for books and exhibitions and is currently living in France.
